Exporting Malaysian Goods & Services to the World

The Market Development Grant (MDG), established by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), is an export incentive providing lifetime grant reimbursements of up to RM300,000 per eligible Malaysian exporter.

Claimable Activities & Expenses

• Participation in Overseas Trade Fairs: Booth rental space, booth construction, and economy return airfares for up to 2 company representatives.
• International Virtual Exhibitions: Virtual booth fees and digital networking subscriptions.
• Cross-Border E-Commerce Onboarding: Subscriptions and onboarding fees on major global B2B platforms (e.g. Alibaba, Amazon Global).
• International Tender Pitching: Translation costs and specialized bidding document fees.

Eligibility Criteria

SMEs must be MATRADE-registered members with a minimum of 60% Malaysian equity and manufacturing Malaysian-made products or exporting professional Malaysian services.
